Grantham Gives Back Grant is Now Open
By Brandon Swenson
Lenexa, Kan., May 1, 2018 – Now through June 1, 2018, Grantham University is accepting applications for the first of two award periods for its 2018 Grantham Gives Back Grant. Through the grant, a minimum of six non-profit organizations will receive up to $3,000 each. Recipients will be selected based on their alignment with Grantham’s service-oriented mission, and will be notified no later than July 15, 2018.
In 2017, thirteen local and national non-profit organizations benefited from more than $40,000 total through the employee-funded grant.
“The Grantham Gives Back Grant program was solely supported last year through employee donations. Our ability to give back over $40,000 to our community was inspiring to our leadership team and speaks to the Grantham culture,” said Chief Financial Officer and Grantham Gives Back Fund senior sponsor, Lily Carpio. “As we enter into our second year of offering this grant program, the University will increase the community impact by matching, dollar-for-dollar, all funds donated by our employees.”
