Grantham’s Partnership with NAACP Supports Diversity, Opportunity in Education
By Grantham University
LENEXA, Kan., July 5, 2018 — Online education pioneer Grantham University recently entered into a partnership with the Johnson County (Kansas) NAACP that provides a number of benefits to NAACP members, their spouses and dependents who attend the University.
Under the agreement, these students can take advantage of reduced tuition at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; a complimentary review of training and experience for potential college credit; and a tuition deferral program.
The partnership builds upon the already stellar level of support Grantham provides all students. The service-minded University offers all of its degree and certificate programs completely online, and has career guidance and resources, 24-7 tutoring services and dedicated support from admission through graduation.
Students can choose from more than 50 Grantham programs that map to in-demand careers in business, technology, criminal justice, health care and more.
“Grantham University and the Johnson County NAACP share the same belief in diversity and the importance of equal rights for all,” said Tabitha Davis, Grantham’s director of university outreach. “This is just one of many ways our education agreement is a natural fit. Now, we’re looking forward to working together to support another common goal – promoting the value of a college education.”
This latest pact means Grantham now has 30 unique corporate, association and community education partners around the country. It also underscores the University’s continued focus on diversity, as Grantham was recently ranked among the most diverse colleges in Kansas.
In fact, 2018 has brought a slew of accolades to Grantham, including those related to academic excellence, affordability and military student support. With eight-week courses, monthly starts, and no set daily login time, the University provides the type of convenience and flexibility that’s critical for today’s busy adult learner.
